How is the price worked out?
A coordinator reads what you send, works out what the job actually takes, and writes one price. It is not an hourly meter and it is not a range. Nothing is due up front: you pay after we have walked the rooms with you and you have said it is right.
What if the job takes longer than expected?
The number does not move. That is the whole point of quoting a flat rate off a survey rather than starting a clock. If the job turns out to be bigger than what you described, a coordinator calls you before anything changes.
How many movers will turn up?
Whatever the piece needs, and it is named in your quote before you book. Two for a single item with a clear path, four or more for a safe, a slate pool table, a gym rack or a hot tub. We do not send a pair and let the day run long.
Do you take things other companies have turned down?
That is most of what we do. Side gates, spiral staircases, third floor walk ups, and doorways the sofa came in through before the wall was framed. Send photos and we will tell you honestly before the day whether it can be done.
Do you disassemble and reassemble?
Yes, and it is included rather than an add on. Beds, tables, racks, and anything that has to come apart to leave the room. It goes back together in the room of choice before we leave.
What happens to the packaging and the old furniture?
Packaging and debris leave with the crew. Anything you are getting rid of that is still in usable condition is repaired where repair is worth doing and then resold or donated, rather than taken to a landfill.
Can you come today?
Sometimes. We hold crews back for same day and on demand work. Call or text rather than filling in the form, because a person can staff it faster than an inbox can and will give you a straight answer about the window.
Is anything not included?
Each service page lists what is not included for that job. Across all of them: we do not disconnect gas or hard wired electrics, we do not carry hazardous material, and we do not work around a locked building without an access plan agreed first.
