Home / How it works
From request to sign off, with nothing skipped
Most people have never watched a mover explain the job before touching anything. This is the whole sequence, in the order it happens.
Request
Send the addresses, the access details, and photos. Call or text instead if it is same day, since a person can staff it faster than a form can.
Survey
Phone, video walkthrough, or an in person visit for larger homes. We size crew, truck, and equipment against the real doorway.
One price, in writing
One number and an arrival window, written down before the day. No hourly meter and no starting at figure.
Packing
Optional, and it can be all of the home or only the kitchen and fragile items. Materials are itemised in the quote.
Protection
Floor runners, door jamb protectors, corner guards, and railing protection go down at both addresses before anything is lifted.
Condition documentation
Photographs of every large piece before the first lift, shared with you. Anything already damaged is recorded there and then.
Load and transport
Blanket wrapped, shrink wrapped over the blanket, strapped to a dolly or skate sized for the piece. Loads secured, not stacked hopefully.
Placement and assembly
Into the room of choice. Beds, sectionals, tables, and equipment reassembled and levelled where you want them.
Walkthrough and sign off
Packaging and debris leave with us. We walk the rooms together, you sign off, and payment is due then.
