Rooftop delivery

Here is how rooftop delivery actually runs with us, written out before you call rather than explained on the day. A coordinator surveys the job, we put one price in writing, we protect the route and the piece, we photograph condition before the first lift, and we place everything where you want it.

What is included

  • Access survey before the day: stairs counted, turns measured, parking checked
  • Crew sized for the carry, not for the item list alone
  • Flat rate quoted in writing, nothing due up front
  • Blankets, shrink wrap, straps, and corner protection on every piece
  • Floor runners, door jamb protectors, and railing protection at both addresses
  • Placement in the room of choice, then packaging and debris taken away

What is not included

  • Packing of loose personal items unless you add packing to the job
  • Electrical, plumbing, or gas work that requires a licensed trade
  • Building permits or certificates of insurance filed on your behalf without notice
  • Storage, unless arranged as a separate booking

How to prepare

  • Reserve the elevator and tell us the window
  • Ask the building for any certificate of insurance requirement early, they often take days
  • Confirm where a truck can legally stand, and for how long
  • Measure the tightest doorway, gate, or stairwell on the route

How we protect it

Protection goes down before anything is lifted: runners on the floor, jamb protectors on every door on the route, guards on corners and railings. The item is blanket wrapped, then shrink wrapped over the blanket so the wrap never touches a finished surface, then strapped to a dolly or skate sized for it. In a building with shared space, protection goes on the common route too: lobby floors, lift walls, and stair nosings, because that is what a super inspects afterwards.

Crews on this work have completed the Common Movers Certification, including the property protection and specialty handling modules. Read the curriculum.

Before you call

rooftop delivery, answered

How much does rooftop delivery cost?

One flat rate, written down before anything moves. A coordinator reads the photos and the two ZIP codes, sizes the crew, and sends one number. Not a range and not an hourly meter. Nothing is due up front: you pay after you have walked the rooms with us.

What if the access is difficult?

Tell us before the day and send photos. Side gates, spiral staircases, low clearances and third floor walk ups are most of what we do. A coordinator will say honestly whether it can be done, and the quote reflects the real route rather than a guess.

Can you do it today?

Sometimes. We hold crews back for same day work. Call or text (877) 657-0555 rather than filling in the form, because a person can staff it faster than an inbox can.

What is not included with rooftop delivery?

Packing of loose personal items unless you add packing to the job. Electrical, plumbing, or gas work that requires a licensed trade. Building permits or certificates of insurance filed on your behalf without notice.

Two ZIP codes and a photo is enough to start. A coordinator reads it and comes back with one number, in writing.
