Last minute packing
Here is how last minute packing actually runs with us, written out before you call rather than explained on the day. A coordinator surveys the job, we put one price in writing, we protect the route and the piece, we photograph condition before the first lift, and we place everything where you want it.
What is included
- Materials supplied and itemised in the quote
- Room by room packing with labelled cartons
- Fragile and specialty items wrapped individually
- Custom crating where a piece needs it
- Unpacking and full carton removal if you add it
What is not included
- Packing of hazardous material, perishables, or firearms
- Cash, jewellery, and irreplaceable documents, which you should carry yourself
- Sorting or decluttering decisions on your behalf
- Storage, unless arranged as a separate booking
How to prepare
- Do the decluttering before the packing crew arrives, it is the single biggest cost saver
- Set aside what you need for the first night and tell the crew
- Point out anything sentimental so it gets the individual treatment
- Leave the kitchen and the fragile rooms to us rather than half packing them
How we protect it
Packing standards are the boring part that decides whether anything breaks: dish packs for crockery, cell dividers for glass, paper on the inside and blankets on the outside, cartons filled to the top so nothing shifts and nothing crushes.

How much does last minute packing cost?
One flat rate, written down before anything moves. A coordinator reads the photos and the two ZIP codes, sizes the crew, and sends one number. Not a range and not an hourly meter. Nothing is due up front: you pay after you have walked the rooms with us.
What if the access is difficult?
Tell us before the day and send photos. Side gates, spiral staircases, low clearances and third floor walk ups are most of what we do. A coordinator will say honestly whether it can be done, and the quote reflects the real route rather than a guess.
Can you do it today?
Sometimes. We hold crews back for same day work. Call or text (877) 657-0555 rather than filling in the form, because a person can staff it faster than an inbox can.
