Services / Assembly and disassembly only

Desk assembly

Here is how desk assembly actually runs with us, written out before you call rather than explained on the day. A coordinator surveys the job, we put one price in writing, we protect the route and the piece, we photograph condition before the first lift, and we place everything where you want it.

What is included

  • Assembly or disassembly only, with no transport, if that is all you need
  • Hardware kept, bagged, and labelled per piece
  • Flat rate quoted in writing, nothing due up front
  • Floor and doorway protection while we work
  • Levelling and adjustment on the finished floor
  • Packaging and debris taken away

What is not included

  • Electrical, plumbing, or gas work that requires a licensed trade
  • Wall or ceiling anchoring into unknown substrate without prior agreement
  • Replacement of hardware that is missing or already broken
  • Warranty service or manufacturer calibration

How to prepare

  • Have the instructions and the hardware if the piece came flat packed
  • Clear and clean the spot, since we assemble in place where we can
  • Tell us the make and model for anything with a manual
  • Say whether the piece has been apart before, because it changes the time

How we protect it

Assembly work happens on protection, not on your floor. Hardware is bagged per piece and labelled as it comes off, which is the difference between a bed that goes back together in twenty minutes and one that never quite sits right again. Anything we cannot reassemble to the standard it came apart at, we tell you before we start rather than after.

Crews on this work have completed the Common Movers Certification, including the property protection and specialty handling modules. Read the curriculum.

Before you call

desk assembly, answered

How much does desk assembly cost?

One flat rate, written down before anything moves. A coordinator reads the photos and the two ZIP codes, sizes the crew, and sends one number. Not a range and not an hourly meter. Nothing is due up front: you pay after you have walked the rooms with us.

What if the access is difficult?

Tell us before the day and send photos. Side gates, spiral staircases, low clearances and third floor walk ups are most of what we do. A coordinator will say honestly whether it can be done, and the quote reflects the real route rather than a guess.

Can you do it today?

Sometimes. We hold crews back for same day work. Call or text (877) 657-0555 rather than filling in the form, because a person can staff it faster than an inbox can.

What is not included with desk assembly?
